"Andrey Ludmer's photo project captures his journey of self-discovery through the streets of Buenos Aires, a city he recently made his home. As he explored, the city started to engage with him, revealing its mystical, magical-realist side—what locals call 'el realismo mágico'. Each walk became a visual conversation, with Buenos Aires offering glimpses of its myths and stories, which in turn evoked memories of Ludmer's past in Russia. The project reflects his transition from a life in Moscow to his pursuit of a new and brighter future in Buenos Aires, intertwining the two cities through a lens of personal and cultural exploration."
