Maybe I Saw an Angel

This series of 18 images was created in Jaffa between 2020 and 2025. I live in Jaffa, where Jews and Arabs live under a constant political shadow. In this context, I'm looking for a space not defined by external forces, a space to drift. The coastal landscape of Jaffa becomes an abstract stage for shared human acts. I frame daily scenes with mythology to highlight what we share. The process of my work is rooted in painting. I start with an inner image and realize it with reality's tools. I sketch ideas, and let them evolve on site. I then add digital notes to the photo, like footnotes. Maybe they're angels.
